Pretty Giveaway

I'm going to launch this beautiful summer weekend with a giveaway.

Just because.

And with something really pretty too.

I found just the thing over at Fat Quarter Shop and they are very kindly letting me give one of these away to one of you ...

This oh-so-pretty "Twice the Charm" fabric roll of Robyn Pandolph's Love and Liberty collection includes 22 - 5 1/2" x 21" pieces ... plenty enough to make something fresh, summery and ... pretty!

If you'd like a chance to win, just leave me a comment telling me what your summer sewing project is.  If you don't have anything on the go you can mention either the last thing you finished or what is on the top of your crafting to-do list.  Comments close Tuesday July 16 and the winner will be announced Wednesday 17th.

Good luck and have a lovely weekend!

Nothing doing at the moment, just come back from 6 weeks holiday EEEKK I know!!! The garden was 2 feet high so that has been taking up my time since we arrived back home. Before we went I made two quilts, one for my Gt Niece and one for a new Gt Gt Nephew.... and yes, that does make me feel old!! Thanks for the lovely giveaway. Linda x

I just discovered your site and I am loving your work! I am taking the summer to catch up and finish several projects, like binding quilts, hems, and I will make a baby quilt for our niece. My reward to myself when I finish will be your new beautiful wallet. I've been drooling over it and I am going to practice making the mini hexagons on a trip. Thank you for the inspiration.

As always, I love reading your post. You have made me laugh too many times...I have been a busy bee this summer, with my 3rd grandchild due next month. I have made 3 baby blankets this year and just finished cutting out square to make two matching twin quilts for my grand-daughters room. I love your choices in fabrics, they are so beautifully color coordinated.I just find it so hard to pick out colors that compliment each other. So I end up making more quilts...Have a great weekend and I can't wait to see pics of your new home...

I am working on the Raccoon Patch Pal from the recent Quiltmaker magazine. It is really turning out cute. Lots and lots of squares to sew together! :-) Then I need to quilt my Row-a-long quilt from Lori Holt's blog. I have all the pieces just need to iron and sandwich them and then come up with some great quilting design for it. Pretty fabrics for the giveaway. Thanks so much. K-

I'm all about sewing clothes for my 3 little girls at the moment -I love small summer dresses and skirts that can be finished in a couple of baby nap times!

The fabric is gorgeous and would be perfect for some pretty little things to go in their bedrooms.

I am currently building up the courage to start using my brand new sewing machine that I got for my 30th birthday! I am going to start with something small like a few pincushions, maybe some little strawberries like you have made! And then I thought a great practical project would be a cover for my sewing machine and this fabric would actually be perfect! And then hopefully before you know it I will be making that quilt that I have always dreamed about! Wish me luck!x

Umm that's a bit of a loaded question for me because I am so behind with my commitments so my summer is going to be catching up with my block commitments and my BOMs which I haven't even started yet and I have enrolled myself in 3 of them.

Your blog is beautiful. My "main" summer project is a yo-yo quilt. I've worked on it off-and-on for a couple years. It's very slow work, especially when it's going to be a large one. Thanks for the opportunity to win this beautiful fabric roll.

I'm a new reader, here from A Little Bit Biased / Sew Inspiring Rooms.

My summer projects are: re-binding a quilt I made 25 years ago; working on a "leftover" quilt, where everything used is something someone gave me or pieces leftover from other quilts I've made; and a baby quilt for my first grand-niece (although I'm waiting to hear about colors for that, so I may wait for Fall after she's born).

I've never worked with a fabric roll before, so that would be a fun thing to try, and it looks like pretty great colors for a new baby girl.

You have such a beautiful blog, and I am ecstatic I have just discovered it.

My craft projects are all coming together after I have just finished Uni, studying something graphics and computer based, which alas, deterred me away from my craft box.

After going to Glastonbury Festival for the first time two weeks ago, and taking stacks of roll with me to capture the weekend, I have decided to embark on a handmade scrapbook. Currently, I am sifting through glitter, cardboard and mountains of paint and glue to create a book good enough to share with the blogging world and of course myself.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful creations.

Good morning! I love your blog! So fresh and your work is just up my ally! I have been working on several things this summer. All small pieces, one is adding appliqué and needle work to one of my old white t-shirts, knitting a sweater and hand quilting one of three quilt pieces...

But, since the 17th is my 54th birthday, to win the bundle of fabric would be AWSOME!
Thanks for having this contest
Sincerely, Mindy Fawn
