Hey there!  I was chatting with my gal pal Amy the other day and guess what ... she asked if I'd "mind" doing a giveaway of her book.  Mind?  I'd LOVE to!  I've had my copy for a little while now and I can't tell you how many times I've looked through it.  Sometimes I read it, sometimes I puruse, sometimes I'm looking for inspiration.  But it's pure delight from cover to cover.

Hi Amy, that is not an easy question to answer, but if I must I would have to say red. Red makes me happy and there is nothing quite as nice as putting on a pair of red shoes . . . they make me want to dance. I have hints of red around my house, especially in the common rooms. Love so may colours or combinations its hard to pick. From childhood had an orange and brown dress and pant set (yup the 70's) which I loved and my mom made a matching outfit for my doll- loved it. Eighties saw lime green/yellow/coral plaid pants yikes or purple parachute pants with lots of hairsprayed hairstyles. Have lots of teal and that not emerald not seafoam green thread from garment sewing in the 90's-loved it so much. Quilting now has me stuck btwn the aqua/red/pinks and the brown/rust/earthy pallet. I have two different cabinets for each colour combo so they can be displayed prettily before I get around to using them.
Yah I can't narrow it down-love colour! So enjoy your blog and lovelies that you make. Have made so many of your projects and that's how I found Amy's site- thru yours. Love the Christmas tags you both come up with each year. Can't wait to see your new home when you give us a tour. Thanks for great giveaway chance.

My favorite color has been blue for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my sister always a got red and I got blue. No matter what it was, I picked blue. All shades of blue - cerulean, Aqua, baby, navy, periwinkle. I could go on and on, it is still blue.
