My Cup Runneth Over

Winter arrived last night.  Ugh.  But the bright side is that now my daughters are old enough to shovel.  (And so the rewards of midnight feedings and poopy diapers begins ... mwah ha ha ha.)

So, I was here in my sewing room working away and the little monkeys started banging on the house outside my room to get my attention.  I went to the window and was about to give them heck for trying to wreck what is already a house that has seen better days when they directed my attention to this:

Good thing I don't have PMS 'cause this would have totally made me cry.  I am one lucky mom. :)

(And I didn't think I'd have anything to blog about today ... )

Oh my goodness, this about made me cry today! Mine would just be grumbling, no hearts at all. I think I would have that framed. Have a great weekend!

Well, if that doesn't pull at the old heartstrings, nothing will...What a sweet surprise! Hugs...

I can't wait until the kidlets are old enough for 'chores'! This is our first winter in Calgary (well, Okotoks) and it's a wee bit frigid out there. Us BC folk just aren't used to this cold. Rain, yes, snow and cold, not so much. Mind you, I spent 4 years in Saskatoon for University, so it can't be as bad as that. Please tell me it's not as bad as that!

Awwww...that is so sweet! We wouldn't know what to do with snow here in Western Australia...and our summer is just around the corner, anyways! Time for the air con and lazy days by the pool :)

oooooohhhhhh THAT is so darn cute! We don't have snow here much. And I don't have girls either. All boys. And most of the time all they have to shovel is dog poop.... I guess I better stop there... LOL... I will say, though, that your girls are much more creative than my boys! LOL! Have a great weekend! Hugs! Bari Jo

Aww. Sweet kids.
Jealous about the snow. I'm really hoping Dec will bring a nice load of it this year.

Ohhhh, how sweet! Yup, those are the little things that lake it all worth while!

No snow here in southern Minnesota, yet. They had forecast some for today, but I think they changed it to rain.

Those girls are creative just like their mama! There is nothing better than the love of a child. Just fills you up and reminds us what's really important. Much to be thankful for eh? Happy Thanksgiving!

Kids will do the unexpected just when you don't expect it! My kids would probably have made the heart but would have avoided shoveling the walks and the drveway...but I wouldn't care....I'd be so choked up about the heart! You are a lucky mama :)
