Farmer's Wife Quilt Along Week 24

Red, Pink, Green, Blue & White

OK!  Super colorful today. :)

#24 - Country Path

I followed the color value in the book this time and I'd say this block is a smashing success.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.

#104 - Wild Geese

It took me a while to decide on this block.  I needed one that could handle all 5 colors and again, using the suggested values in the book, this one also makes me smile. :)

Now is it just me or are all these geese playing chicken?  Look.  They're all running towards the middle of the block and they're gonna to crash into each other!

I really love all the colors in these! They look orderly-scrappy somehow. Yeah. I just made that up. :) The bright colors are so happy! And I love the fussy cut roses in the middle of "Country Path". These just might be my favorite yet!!! :)

Okay, I thought I wasthe only one who looked at blocks and quilts like that, be careful sometimes it can get you in trouble with the "Quilt Police".

Sigh. Why do all the colors you put together look so great, but mine don't? You have a real knack or talent or good eye or something! I would never have thought to put some of the colors you use together, but they look wonderful - and you do a lovely job piecing, too!

These blocks are so beautiful, I love your colour choices. I'm just learning how to do this kind of patchwork, I'm so impressed with your neatness!
You've given me some motivation to get on the sewing machine. :-)

Love them. Especially the geese playing chicken - which I guess makes it a good thing you have red in the centre representing ker-splatt :)

Wow these new blocks are great! Love the color placement. I'm missing my sewing machine since I'm on vacation this week (I feel kinda weird saying that, but it's true!)
