Uncle!
April 14, 2011
What did you see out your window this morning?
Me?
I saw this ...
It's APRIL ... 14TH ... !!!
Want to know how much? This is my front lawn. It was naked when I went to bed.
That's right, almost 8 inches. E - I - G - H - T.
But it sure is pretty.
Makes me almost forgive Mother Nature ...
... almost. :)

What a perfect day to stay in and quilt, quilt, quilt.......
I kept waiting all winter long to see 8 inches on snow out my window. The most we got at any one time was about 4 inches, so I am having some snow envy right now!
Stay warm.
My favorite kind of winter days....when it snows so much you just want to stay in the cozy warmth and craft your heart away. Pic look pretty!
I'm amused that you use your quilting tools to measure snow.
Oh no! This isn't making me want to rush out for our move to Okotoks! Oh well, it's calling for snow tonight on Van Isl, so I guess it's everywhere =) A good excuse to stay in and be cozy!
Enjoy it if you can. It is hot and humid already here in Dallas, TX. A few more weeks and we will be needing to visit the pool to cool off again.
Beautiful pictures!!
I really don't think I could forgive Mother Nature, if she had done that in my garden!!!

omg! i love snow!!!! i didnt love it so much when it melted here in january and the whole country had no water for about 3 weeks but still.. i get really excited when i see snow :)
How beautiful! I wish that is what I saw out my window today : ( Instead it was sandy and windy (as usual)! I love the snow when there's nothing to do but stay home and bake...and eat!
Holy Cow! I've forgotten where you are??? I love snow -- but not really in April LOL!
I really can't imagine waking up to snow...it's so beautiful! Here in sunny Perth, Western Australia we NEVER ever get snow, or even much of a winter really. Enjoy the indoor time :)
Beautiful pictures, Kristyne. That's more snow than we've had this spring, and I live in Colorado!
Maybe you should come and visit me - it's spring here!
Beautiful pictures! So pretty and as someone mentioned a wonderful day to stay home and quilt. By the way, I love the ruler you used!
looks like my end of the world a few days ago ...where abouts are you? Summers are too short for my liking....and no spring to speak of....
hey.... had to back track to see where I'd left my comment on snow....and yes...we are in Calgary... Mapleridge.....
At least it was sunny today ....let's hope it continues .... the ground will be frozen for weeks yet I guess.... sigh.....
