Her Favorite Color is Green
November 13, 2012
Before I make a gift for my daughters to give to their friend, I always send them on a reconnaissance mission first - find out the birthday girl's favorite color.
It makes the gift that much more special.
It also saves me from making EVERYTHING pink.
'Cause you and I both know ... I totally would.

that's it, I'm inviting your girls to Blair's Birthday in March. Oh wait, Ella's is first. I'm sure a 1 year old, or 38 year old man would love one of those (or at least I would!!). Super cute, and your girls friends are so lucky to receive them!
the girl's got great taste...my fav colour is green too!..V x
I just love how a sweet, simple project like this takes on its own personality depending on the fabric choice. What little girl wouldn't love one of these?!
Really lovely!
I love this -- and the book in the first photograph is one of my very favorite books!
Yes you would go all pinkish! BTW my favorite color is aquablue with a little bit pink and red;-) Hildy
Way to go Zorro! This is so pretty! And I really like the ribbon pulls at the ends - great idea! That little eraser is so cute, too!
And mine too.
Awww, that is just so darn sweet!!!! Just love that fabric, can you tell us what collection it is from? The ribbon on the ends and zipper pull does it for me too! Beyond adorable, that little girl must have just loved it! I think I need to make up a few more, they are like potato chips!!!
so cute!! i'm sure she will love it!! i know my daughters would. i love that you did some investigating to find out her favorite color! great thinking!

This pencil case is adorable. Would you mind sharing as to whether it is a pattern available for purchase or if is via an online tutorial?
Thanks so much!
