perennial beauty ~ a pretty giveaway

You know Fort Worth Fabric Studio, right?  It's a great online shop. Tons of gorgeous fabrics and a whole bunch more.  If you've never been, you should go check it out.  :)  Jodie, the owner (and a super sweet lady), has very kindly offered to give this "Perennial Beauty" bundle to one of you.  Isn't it just delicious?

But wait, there's more ...

Because Jodie knows how much I love using cotton tape labels, she's tied this bundle up with TWO YARDS of this pretty "Paris" one (it's a favourite of mine!).  By the way, her price for this tape is amazing - 0.69/yd!  Imagine using it on all the gifts for your family under the Christmas tree this year .... and then squirrling it all back for your sewing room.  I'd totally do that. ;)

For a chance to win this pretty bundle of 11 FQs and 2 yds of labels, leave me a comment telling what you'd make with it.  This giveaway closes Friday, October 24 and is open to everyone ... no exclusions. :)

Hope you're having an awesome weekend.  The sun is shining in my corner of the world, there are still a few defiant leaves hanging onto branches for dear life, and I think there's a trip to the corner patisserie for me in the very near future.  As in like RIGHT NOW!  I'm in dire need of a Pain au Chocolat and a nice hot cup of Irish Breakfast tea.  Two cream, one sugar please.

I love Fort Worth Fabric Studio because they put together bundles of fabric from different lines. They're just so creative. If I were to win this bundle, I would make a quilt for a dear friend who is moving away. As a matter of fact, she is moving up north and would need a quilt to keep toasty warm. She would absolutely love these fabrics. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
Enjoy your Pain au Chocolat!

Hmm. I have never done any patchwork, but really want to give it a go. This fabric would be perfect! My idea is for a journal cover (I'm thinking it's a good idea to start small?) I adore butterflies, so would use that as the focal piece, and frame it with tiny little squares of the co-ordinating colours. I'm also keen to make some new patchwork cushion covers. And, like you, I would so totally sneak back the fabric tape off presents haha.

Gorgeous fabrics! If I won, I would make a coordinating pair of "little girl purses" for my 2 nieces (2 and 4). They love all things pink and girly and this bundle would be perfect. I would use the remaining "scaps" in my upcoming rainbow scrap quilt. The only color I'm missing is pink! ;)

Mmmmm that fabric is so summery. Just the ticket with a rainy few months ahead of me. I'm not sure what I'd make with it. I've just moved into my first unfurnished place and I'm having a wonderful time buying things, and making bits and pieces, and generally prettifying it. It would make a wonderful cushion fory desk chair. Or maybe some bunting. Or maybe a little baby quilt for my new cousin. My head is just jumping around with ideas now! Tempted to go to my stash and sew something now!!!

Love Em x
