from bundle to bag

I find it surprisingly hard sometimes to execute "planned scrappy" ... hint hint ;).  Have you ever tried it?  Don't get me wrong, I always love playing with fabric.  But based solely on the look of this bag, you'd have a hard time believing just how long I spent deciding what fabric went where and what size to cut each piece.

But I've barely made a dent in my Blogger's Choice FQ Bundle with this project.  Hmmm.  What to do, what to do.

A beautiful way to showcase your fabric bundle. Planned scrappy sure does take more time than scrappy! I look forward to seeing future projects from this fabulous bundle.

I love your blog, I found it a few days ago, I could not stop reading until I had checked every post! Lol
After seeing your mini hexagons I finally got around to making some, they turned out quite nice, hopefully I will make a small pin cushion from them.
This bag is gorgeous, just love it!

Despite the fact is is actually snowing outside, I do feel summer comin' on with these pretty fabrics (nice choices on the scrappy, btw!). I think that sweet ruffle (the first thing I saw) is the icing on the cake. Love it when a detail sets it apart - in music it's called 'the hook' - and you nailed it. Again.

It's the opposite for me; planned scappy/random is super easy, because I take a rather mathematical approach to it. True random I can't do, because I spend too much time wanting to "fix" different bits of it.

Nice work, as always!
