happy flower qal - week 10

Yet another "make-it-do-even-though-I-have-enough-fabric" block.  My favourite so far.  Really loving it.

Because I made my Farmer's Wife quilt entirely out of Flower Sugar, I'm deliberately avoiding it this time.  Not because I don't still love it, but because I need something different.  The background fabric for this block, however, is an exception.  One of my all-time favourte prints in the history of forever.

Oh Kristyne, I love flower sugar too, soooo much. More that anything else.
These two blocks are adorable.
I am making a little quilt for my future grand baby, little birdies, blocks.
I am using some moda white with light blue dots, and lots of flower sugar and milk sugar flower.
I am making up the pattern so the hardest part is remembering the measurements. Picking the colors
of each bird is the best part
