Project Simplify - Day 29

(Sigh.)  Time for a cup of tea ...

This happens to me once in a while when my hand accidentally moves the stitch selection wheel on my machine as I'm shoving a large quilt through.

I think there's a way I can lock the machine from doing this, but that would A) require me to remember how to do it or B) dig out my manual  ...

Me pick PINK! ;)

I have a similar problem with one of my machines, which has a touch screen. I finally hit on a very low-tech solution ....... I taped a piece of card over the screen with masking tape (I broke several needles when I accidently changed to zigzag and the needle hit the foot)

luckily for you i have the same machine and i had the same problem so now i always lock my stitch when i quilt! here's how:

under the stitch info screen there are 4 buttons. on the 4th button from the left, hold it down until a lock icon shows. your stitch is locked on the current settings.

to discontinue, hold down the sam key until the lock icon shows unlocked. if you can't remember how to unlock, turning your machine off and then back on will unlock it. ;0
