Farmer's Wife Quilt Along Week 12

Green.

#30 - End of Day

This block feels a little heavy to me.  I think I might change out one of the corner triangles to white.   I'll see what it looks like with more blocks ...

#81 - Snowball

Kermit the Frog said it wasn't easy being green.

Yeah, he's right.  But it's totally easy being pink!  ;)

You're so funny! Pink is definitely easier -- especially since green is usually the color one turns just before he woofs his cookies LOL. Love the blocks -- even the "heavy" one.

lol, I love the blocks. I agree with you about swapping out the corner triangle with white. I think it would give it more contrast. :)

You know, any orphan blocks you DON'T use can be sent to me. I will take good care ot them...I promise!! I'm friends with Kermie. ;0

I love pink and green - my very first quilt (a sampler) is mostly pink and green. I like both blocks - but I agree that perhaps a little white in the corners would improve things.

I agree with you about change one of the triangles to white (the 'greener' one, right?) but I think your green blocks will look good on your quilt;-)

green is my favourite colour.

Lime, chartreuse, olive, leaf, apple, moss. Ironically pretty much any green except mint green.
