Farmer's Wife Quilt Along Week 37

Red, Pink, Green, Gray & White

Valentine's Day theme ... of course. :)

#45 - Grape Basket

I don't have any purple in this quilt so I couldn't do grapes.  But I thought a bouquet of red & pink roses - WITH a little bit of greenery - IN an antique silver bowl - would be perfect for today!

Oddly enough, I'm totally diggin' the asymmetry of the flowers.

#106 - Wild Rose & Square

I thought these roses were the perfect compliment to my bouquet.

I did a little boo boo with this one and forgot to make the corner squares gray the first time around.  Had to redo.  Much better.  Glad I did.  Makes a big difference!

I know you're wondering why I didn't save this post for tomorrow ... you'll see. :)

Very elegant blocks, can someone please design a bowl like yours?

Absolutly stunning! Can I ask if you're PP or template piecing your blocks? I just started mine and love how fun they are.

Just found your site and read the blog - what a joy such fun, wanted to say that I too love the Laura Ashley MELROSE design, has my lounge curtains and cushions made up in it, then when I moved to France bought more to take there to make up for the house there, unfortunately has to move back to the UK and by then couldn't afford to have it again in new abode but it remains a firm favourite and so the pickiest of yours was very nostalgic. Love the farmers wife blocks too they look great in your colours - must get on now have 9 projects on simultaneously where am I going to get the time - Dyson in middle of lounge floor waiting to be used !
