almost finished ...

Just got THIS back from my longarmer.

In a word ... Eeeeeeeep! :)

I will show you LOTS of photos once I get the binding done, which won't take long because we just had our first snowfall yesterday (I know) and I'm in the mood to do little else but cozy things ... and binding a big quilt is just that very sort of thing.

Excuse me, but Netflix beckons.

Seriously, the anticipation is killing me! I still say you have the prettiest FWQ anywhere. I know you don't like the snow, but Netflix and finishing a quilt are about as good as it gets, crafty-wise! Have fun! :)

Your quilt is amazing! I checked back to see the assembled quilt top and it's the prettiest one I've seem. I'd like to try something as ambitious some day but I have a big question. How many fabrics did you use and did you have them all together when you first began? Did you plan all the blocks first or trust to chance? I'm new to this whole quilt piecing thing and the organization of colors and blocks has me flummoxed.

oh you have made me very happy and excited (again). I bought a flower sugar FQ pack when this craze first started (2 years ago now? perhaps?) and I have only seen one or two in flower sugar and I'm so happy to see another one.
