sew deerly giveaway
Well hello! How is your week going so far? Are you ready for Christmas? I'm not. But then again I never am. And yet Christmas still comes anyway and things always work out. :)
I've been doing a little pre-xmas shopping for myself ...
These pretties came in the mail yesterday. When I emailed my friend Kerri at Sew Deerly Loved to tell her the fabric had arrived and how much I love it, she offered to do a giveaway for you, my dear readers! I'm very excited for one of you to win this bundle of sweet Japanese fabrics. :)
To enter this fabulous giveaway to win 14 FQs of Atsuko Matsuyama's latest fabrics, simply leave me a comment saying what Christmas sewing (if any) you are doing, already did or plan to do (no one will know if you don't get to it!).
Comments close Sunday Dec 22nd and I'll announce the winner on Tuesday Dec 24th.
Oh, and one more thing ... everything over at Sew Deerly Loved is 20% off right now so if you're looking for a gift for someone (like maybe yourself, possibly?) check out her shop. I never leave empty-handed!

I love Kerri's shop and her fabrics, so beautiful!
right now I finished 2 babyquilts for my kids for christmas,
a cushion for my mom, hopefully a second one soon too
and a table runner for my aunt (already gifted)
I am making casserole dish carriers, oven mitts and tea towels for my girls' play kitchen (which my dad is making for them) and Christmas dresses for them to wear on Christmas Day.

I am sure I will play with a few other projects in between as my sewing room is always filled with unfinished projects. Winning this fabric would just be wonderful.

I'm also making monster themed rag quilts for my nephews to go along with some monster themed books to try and encourage them to read. (They are 5.)

ive been sewing boxed zipper bags. my first zippers! i just went for it and now I cant stop...
I was also going to do some embroidering but, like I said, life has been crazy and this year just wasn't the one for handmade gifts. Oh well.
I sort of feel bad for entering another giveaway on your blog, so if I DO win (by crazy chance) I plan to give this fabric to a friend as a gift.
I am sewing one bag, one triangle coin purse and a pair of potholders...and I would love to make a quilt for my daughter with those lovelies Atsuko Matsuyama fabrics!

My Christmas sewing is so limited this year. My sister's baby shower is a week and a half after Christmas, so all my sewing has been going towards the shower! Table runners, banners, I'm all sortsa busy.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I made yoga mat bags for all the ladies in the family and still need to make a few colored pencil rolls. Need. More. Time.
Merry Christmas Sweet Kristyne -- and thanks for the beautiful giveaway!
