Multi-Tasking Gone Awry

June is one crazy month, isn't it?  But I did manage to find a little Friday giggle for you.  This is what happens when I hand stitch while watching a movie with subtitles.

Fine.

Good.

Nice.

Uh, oops.

Hope you have an oops-free weekend!

I have a couple of those oop's now and again myself (like the time I sewed wrong side to right side vs right sides together). I'm getting very handy at using my seam ripper!

Why does the shape of it remind me of the Jetson's vehicle? If not for TV Land, the big oops is that I just dated myself!

Ha! Love it!!! Happy Weekend, K! :)
Very cute! I love the shape of those flowers. That extra hexie on each side really changes it.

Happens to me all the time. Some times I think I should turn off the tv, but then if I did that I wouldn't take the time to sit down with my sewing.

I'm putting together quilt squares right now. I'm playing with the seam ripper a bit more than I would like. The worst part is that I usually need to rip out the part that I think went together so perfectly! Sewing sure does teach patience.

As I was scrolling down I was thinking... her hexies look great, what's does she mean gone awry? Then I got to the last photo... lol. At least it was only the one hexie.

BTW... I really like that slight change you've made in the third round of hexies by adding the two florals in the round of whites.

The woman than owns my LQS bought a quilt of 1/2 hexies in this pattern. So gorgeous, can't wait to see how yours turns out. It's on my bucket list for sure.,

Not oops if you were wanting to make a fish. Just about finished my first hexie project. Best wishes, Carina

Even an oops can be beautiful. Can't wait to see this new beautiful project that will surely inspire me. Still using the hexies that measure 1" on each straight side.

Your white fabric looks so clear and bright. Is it a tone on tone, a Kona white, a white muslin, or something else? I really like the clear, crisp look that it has.

Kristyne, I made a honeybee bag from your pattern for my mom! How can I send you a picture? Also, do you think I could EPP the he is and triangles? Want to make one for myself too. Mom absolutely loves it!

Let me know...lori.hunstad@Gmail.com.

These are gorgeous - love the prints you've chosen and I can't imagine the hours gone into this so far. I look forward to the big reveal ! Hope you are on higher ground. My thoughts are with all those in Calgary and southern Alberta experiencing this horrible weather.
