not a mistake, but an opportunity

I miscounted the number of blocks I was making (again) and ended up being short by two.  So I made one more pieced block ...

and then decided to do my embroidered signature block trick for the last one.

Glass half full and all. ;)

Thank you for sharing your creative solution. I do enjoy hand embroidery the problem for me is with tight curves .... You have quite a few in your name do you have a trick or tutorial for making those curves smooth? What stitch ?
