Quilt Market - Giveaway
November 10, 2011 This was me at the airport waiting for the scale to tell me how much my suitcase weighed, "Oh pleeeeeease, please please please PLEASE be under 50 lbs!" Whew! Just barely made it. :)
I'm really happy with all the pretty fabric I brought home. My creative wheels are turning and I'm dying to start cutting & sewing.

"Woodland" by Lecien. So adorable. I know I'll be making lots of gifts for my daughters' friends as birthday gifts & such.

But my absolute favorite find was, of course, Yoko Saito's book. I'm considering putting it in a safety deposit box. ;)
Ok. Now for some fun for you.
I met one of the nicest people on the planet at Quilt Market - Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs.
And she generously sent me home with some goodies to give away here to a few lovely Pretty by Hand readers. (Thank you Anne!) Not one, not two, but SIX patterns for her adorable little soft creatures.

7. AND an ACTUAL finished Henrietta made from Anne's fabric.

So far, I have made two of Anne's charming pincushions. I own two of her quilt patterns, but I haven't made them yet. The Bitty Bird pincushion is my favorite. I made it in a class at my local quilt shop. The project was so much fun to make, too. The pattern went together perfectly, and I am so pleased with my precious birdie pincushion!

I enjoy going to Anne's website often. I really like her Pumpkin Hill design. One of my friends made it a year or so ago and that's how I found Bunny Hill Designs website. Every month I can't wait to get her next free pattern of Henrietta Whiskers. I'm slow at getting it finished but excited to see the finished product. Thanks for the opportunity to share.
Love them all. I have Rainy Cats and Dogs coming in the mail as a BOM and Autumn House and another. So three BOM in a month. I am in love with Henrietta and have her in the mail to my home for special treats for my girl friends. :) I also had to have Pumpkin Pie and bought all the fabrics the day I saw it. Crazy how we all get so excited we keep going thru the night. Love all the patterns.
Without a doubt, my favorite pattern from Anne was her "Rabbits Prefer Chocolate".

I have a collection of Annes Bitty patterns and supplies to make them..One of these days! My favorite pattern is Rabbits Prefer Embroidery. I made this quilt in the brown version as I prefer CHOCOLATE bunnies!! The Carry Me bag is another favorite. i am a scrap saver and my quilt friends tease me about it. The Carry Me bag uses thin strips and was the perfect use for some favorite silly strips I did not have the heart to part with..If you save scraps long enough...Eventually a project will lend itself..If you dont get buried alive in scraps while waiting! love your blog and will enjoy following along! I knew if Anne recommended you it would be great!
I love all of Anne Sutton's designs, but I particularly like Snickerdoodles the bunny.
This is a very hard decision. I love Henrietta the squirrel!! We have so many squirrels in our yard. My favorite pattern is "Autumn House" from Anne's shop.

I love all of Anne's patterns but if I must pick a favorite it would be Baltimore Bunnies. My next favorite would be between Le Jardin and The Night before Christmas. Ohh its sooooooooo hard to pick just one!!!!!! Thanks for the chance to win and I love your blog sight.
My favorite pattern is A Tisket A Tasket and Rabbits Prefer Chocolate is a close second. Actually, I love all the patterns, so having to pick was really hard!

Snickerdoodles has been on my wish list for a while now :) he is adorable! Sooooo jealous of all your new fabrics...yum yum yum! I'm waiting patiently to see California Girls and Natalie Lymers Woodland, but now probably need to check out Durham Anew as well LOL Thanks for the chance to win...I love Anne's designs, and her fabrics are to die for!
Oh fun! I like all of the Christmas patterns of Bunny Hill Designs. Just when I think I have had enough oooing and ahhhhing, another one comes out. I'd love to make Merry Merry Snowmen, The Night before Christmas, and A Vintage Christmas.
I didn't need to go to the shop as I've made many of Anne's quilts. At the moment Le jardin is a favourite but I'm about to begin Raining Cats and Dogs and I love this too.

My VERY favorite pattern from Bunny Hill is "Yoyoville" I love it so much I took Anne's class at my favorite quilt store Thimble Creek!! Anne was a great teacher! We had a wonderful time and she is the sweetest person! I finished all my yo-yo's and they are the cutest and most perfect yo-yo's thanks to the Clover yo-yo maker!
