Quilt Market - Giveaway

This was me at the airport waiting for the scale to tell me how much my suitcase weighed, "Oh pleeeeeease, please please please PLEASE be under 50 lbs!"  Whew!  Just barely made it. :)

I'm really happy with all the pretty fabric I brought home.  My creative wheels are turning and I'm dying to start cutting & sewing.

"La Petite Mercerie" by Lecien - LOVE notion prints!

"Woodland" by Lecien.  So adorable.  I know I'll be making lots of gifts for my daughters' friends as birthday gifts & such.

Died and went to heaven with Lecien's "Durham Anew" line.

Moda's "California Girls".  Couldn't resist those blues!

So yummy "Athill" by Moda

But my absolute favorite find was, of course, Yoko Saito's book.  I'm considering putting it in a safety deposit box. ;)

Ok.  Now for some fun for you.

I met one of the nicest people on the planet at Quilt Market - Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs.

And she generously sent me home with some goodies to give away here to a few lovely Pretty by Hand readers.  (Thank you Anne!)  Not one, not two, but SIX patterns for her adorable little soft creatures.

1. Allie the Scottie Dog

2. Baby Bear

3. Henrietta the Squirrel

4. Lollipop the Lamb

5. Scooter Pie the Cat

6. Snickerdoodles the Bunny

7. AND an ACTUAL finished Henrietta made from Anne's fabric.

(And the limbs are hinged so they move!)

But wait.

There's MORE!

Just to sweeten the deal, I'm sure I can find a pretty fat quarter - or two - from my stash to go with each prize.  (Need to make room for all the aforementioned bundles ...)

So.  If you would like to enter this giveaway to win ONE of these 6 patterns + FQs or the sweet squirrel + FQs (so 7 winners in total), please go to Anne's shop, take a look at her patterns, come back here and leave a comment telling me which of her designs is your favorite.

Winners will be selected at random.  The first name drawn will win the Allie pattern & a FQ, winner #2 will receive the Baby Bear pattern & a FQ, etc. following the list above.

Comments will close Sunday Nov 13th at 6:00 pm PST  (West coast of North America).  I will announce the winners on Monday Nov 14th.  Please be sure to leave me your email (only I can read it) so I can reach you if you win.

Good luck everyone! :)

Your fabric is to die for, oh my gosh!!! I love what you got. Okay, Anne's patterns are all incredible. And I have never appliqued anything in my life (sad I know) and I secretly have always wanted to. I would choose Tiny Town as my favorite, I saw it hanging in a quilt shop and fell in love with it.

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterHeather

I really love "The night before Christmas". I always enjoy everything you post about!!!

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered Commentercynthia

That's easy. It's Autumn House. But I've never done applique, so my next in line is Dollys Garden. I love Anne's patterns. The colors she chooses just speak to me :-)

Oh my what a shopping spree you had!!! :)
Had a wee look in the shop and picking one pattern from so many gorgeous ones was a bit difficult. I do love all the patterns though that feature a bunny rabbit, there that narrowed it a bit. ;)

What a hard decision--I love all of the Bunny Hill patterns. My first choice is Snickerdoodles. I have a fondness for bunnies and I guess it goes back to my childhood when I had two albino bunnies named Flopsy and Mopsy. I also like baby bear as I have been collecting bears for years. I love all of your fabric choices and I think I will have to go in search of Woodland. What a great fabric to make some goodies for my granddaughter and, maybe, for me. Thanks for a very enjoyable blog.

I love Night at the Ritz because it looks really fresh. The squirell cracks me up...we had squirells get in our attic two Christmas' ago. Oh my gosh...there were 8 of them!
Thanks for all the great pics from Market! I was able to go to Minneapolis a few years ago when they had it there. It was so awesome! I would love to go again someday. Quilters heaven!

I love all your bundles - especially the Lecien notions! I would have to say my favorite pattern is the Sweet Dreams Lily quilt followed by these cute critters - Lollipop sheep is adorable. They would all look great in our nursery.

I've been a fan of Anne Sutton patterns for a long time and have made several of her quilts. I would be very hard pressed to name a favorite, but Henrietta the squirrel is just too cute to pass up. My little granddaughters would be enchanted! Thanks for the giveaway!

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterKate

Love, love, love all your goodies!!!!

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterDarlene

That's a difficult question to answer---my favorite Bunny Hill pattern. For a couple of years, I loved Autumn House (I bought that recently), then she came out with Raining Cats & Dogs (I also love cats & dogs, so I bought that one too), now my latest love is Pumpkin Pie. I'm not much of an orange fan, but those pumpkins are so adorable and I do love the variety of the orange pumpkin fabric. I've also followed her BOTMs for the last few years--all are way too cute. Rita

I love all her patterns, but Le Jardin is a favorite!

What a great give away. I have to say my favorite pattern is ''A vintage Christmas''. When I bought that it was either that or '' Le Jardin'' which I love too. Actually I think I love all the patterns and the fabric is adorable too, lol.

First of all, I am thrilled to have 'found' your site thru Bunny Hill - this looks like it's going to be just too much fun to see what's what here!!! Can't wait to poke around a bit!

Picking a favorite pattern from Anne Sutton is sort of like picking your favorite child (impossible), but I do love, love, love one of her new design "Pumpkin Pie" - probably because Halloween is my birthday - so you see the connection!

Thank you for the chance to win such a wonderful give-away.

(I think we are all a bit jealous that you've been able to meet Anne in person - I just bet she is awesome.)

Now. . . I'm going to investigate your beautiful site. thanks!

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterBarb

Oh my. How does one pick a favorite pattern from all of those! Love Lollipop the Lamb, love every one of the bags, love the Postcard Cuties for Winter, love Tiny Town, love Autumn House, and on and on and on! And love your fabric treasures! You picked winners, that's for sure!

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMarge

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterOmajean

I love all her patterns, but my favorite is still Baltimore Bunnies!

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterKim Q

I am so jealous of all the beautiful fabric you got at market. But since you are sharing I will not hold it against you for being so lucky. I would love to make one of Anne's critters. My favorite pattern from Bunny Hill is the Baltimore Bunnies. I have the kit but have not been brave enough to start it. Maybe if I win the Bunny it will get me started on the quilt.

November 10, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMarj

What an awesome giveaway, thank you. It's hard to pick a favorite of Anne's patterns. She really has some wonderful things. However I have long had my eye on Yoyoville (though I like to say it like YO!-YO! ville) :)
