Quilt Market - Giveaway
This was me at the airport waiting for the scale to tell me how much my suitcase weighed, "Oh pleeeeeease, please please please PLEASE be under 50 lbs!" Whew! Just barely made it. :)
I'm really happy with all the pretty fabric I brought home. My creative wheels are turning and I'm dying to start cutting & sewing.
"La Petite Mercerie" by Lecien - LOVE notion prints!
"Woodland" by Lecien. So adorable. I know I'll be making lots of gifts for my daughters' friends as birthday gifts & such.
Died and went to heaven with Lecien's "Durham Anew" line.
Moda's "California Girls". Couldn't resist those blues!
So yummy "Athill" by Moda
But my absolute favorite find was, of course, Yoko Saito's book. I'm considering putting it in a safety deposit box. ;)
Ok. Now for some fun for you.
I met one of the nicest people on the planet at Quilt Market - Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs.
And she generously sent me home with some goodies to give away here to a few lovely Pretty by Hand readers. (Thank you Anne!) Not one, not two, but SIX patterns for her adorable little soft creatures.
1. Allie the Scottie Dog
2. Baby Bear
3. Henrietta the Squirrel
4. Lollipop the Lamb
5. Scooter Pie the Cat
6. Snickerdoodles the Bunny
7. AND an ACTUAL finished Henrietta made from Anne's fabric.
(And the limbs are hinged so they move!)
But wait.
There's MORE!
Just to sweeten the deal, I'm sure I can find a pretty fat quarter - or two - from my stash to go with each prize. (Need to make room for all the aforementioned bundles ...)
So. If you would like to enter this giveaway to win ONE of these 6 patterns + FQs or the sweet squirrel + FQs (so 7 winners in total), please go to Anne's shop, take a look at her patterns, come back here and leave a comment telling me which of her designs is your favorite.
Winners will be selected at random. The first name drawn will win the Allie pattern & a FQ, winner #2 will receive the Baby Bear pattern & a FQ, etc. following the list above.
Comments will close Sunday Nov 13th at 6:00 pm PST (West coast of North America). I will announce the winners on Monday Nov 14th. Please be sure to leave me your email (only I can read it) so I can reach you if you win.
Good luck everyone! :)

love the park lane pattern. the lamb is adorable too. what a sweet giveaway. thank you and thank Anne.
I think Anne's Sugar and Spice quilt pattern is adorable.
I think it's the pumpkin pie pattern - It's the season! Thanks so much for this giveaway - very lovely stuff! Anna
I have many of them. I love them all, but I might have to at this moment, say pumpkin pie since that is the one I am collecting the fabric for.
Which ONE is my favorite? It's like asking what piece of chocolate taste the best or which one fabric line do you love. But in order to be eligible, I have to make a decision. So do I pick Rabbits Prefer Chocolate or Henrietta Whiskers or A Tisket A Tasket or - okay! I know! Stop and pick one. Well, then, Pumpkin Hill. But only because I don't have my copy of Pumpkin Pie yet. I would love to be the proud owner of one of her beautiful animals, not to mention who doesn't need another fat quarter of her gorgeous fabrics? If I don't win, don't worry! The animals will come to my home soon enough to be shared and loved with friends and family. Bunny Hill is my favorite everything. And now, she has introduced me to your blog! I've already won!
I absolutely adore her patterns. My very favorite is Rabbits Prefer Chocolate. I loved making that quilt.
Jackie
Well I just love all of her patterns but Henrietta squirrel is my favorite. And what beautiful fabrics you have pictured. I guess I must go shopping for lack of anything else to do. Thank you so much for a chance to win a wonderful prize.

You have inspired me to finally pull out my Farmers Wife book & get started! I absolutely love yours!! So bright & cheerful!
Oops, almost forgot what I was supposed to do! I love Tiny Town from Anne Sutton's website. I love her fabric choices from Fig Tree & Martinique in this quilt. There are several I really like, but one of my most favorite of Anne's patterns is the Bitsy Button and Friends quilt as well as the Bitty Bird pincushion. Just adorable! I also have to say I am a huge fan of yours and am absolutely in love with your Farmer's Wife blocks, just fabulous! Totally agree with you also about the Durham Anew line, spectacular patterns and colors!
How can you possibly pick just one favorite pattern of Anne's? Impossible!! I visit her website everyday and dream and drool. My favorite this day would have to be Raining Cats and Dogs. Ask me tomorrow and it will prolly be something else!!

I love the new Snowman pattern as Snowmen are my absolute favourite
Hi Kristyne,
Wow I almost missed the opportunity to try for your give-away. I've been in Massachusetts with my daughter. We are expecting our first grandbaby. For over a hundred years, in my family ,firstborns have always been girls. So you can imagine our shock when we learned that this first born is a BOY. I love all things Bunny Hill. My favorite pattern today is Bitty Owl. I'm soo glad you had a great time at market and your new additions to your stash are enviable.
Take care,
Carole Y.
I really love the baby bear - I used to collect teddy bears as a child and baby #3 is almost here. But, I also love the snowball pillow.
My favorite pattern is "Rabbits Prefer Chocolate" - I've been working on it for six years and each motif in this quilt pattern is precious !!! Thanks for the chance to win one of Anne's wonderful animal friends and fabric. Pretty By Hand looks like my kind of site. Thanks you again. Joyce
I loooove Snickerdoodles the Bunny! I know of all the cute quilts, I pick the little Bunny, but I love Bunnies, and I love that she works them into a lot of her prints. Thanks for the give-away!
I have to choose? Ha ha. I love bunnies so Snickerdoodles it is.
Would have loved to have been on your shopping trip...love those bundles!
Anne Sutton is amazing! I love all her creations...I am such a big fan of hers and Bunny Hill. So hard to pick just one favorite; I`m really loving the Pumpkin Pie Pattern and I hope to make Rabbits Prefer Chocolate and A Tisket A Tasket one day :0)
Thank you for a chance to win one of those adorable prizes. What a great giveaway!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Tammy :0)
I found her website a couple days ago and spent hrs on there. It is just fab. I really love the quilt pattern "Henrietta Whiskers" which I did not see today. I have started collecting pincussions and just can't wait to get the pattern "Bitty Owl". Would love to win it!!
I love the fabric and the patterns! thanks for a lovely giveaway. I love bittie mouse pattern :) thanks again!
Kristyne,
It is nice to meet you, via the internet. I like the fabric you brought home from the show.
I would love to use some of "La Petite Mercerie" by Lecien to cover a papier mache or wooden box for topping with an appropriate piece of my cross stitch...how French!
Lecien's "Woodland" print with the tiny red European mushrooms would be perfect for new tea-party aprons for my toddler granddaughter, my daughter, and myself. I could trim them with co-ordinating fabric ruffles and pockets. Little Cate would love them!
My all-time favorite of Anne's quilt patterns is "Baltimore Bunnies." I bought it awhile back, and it is on my to-do list, when I complete a couple of quilts I already had begun, before I discovered Anne's designs. For me, this special quilt design incorporates elements of Early American, Victorian Dainty, and Country Primitive...three of my most favorite styles! When I complete my version of the Baltimore Bunnies, it will hang in my "Grandmother's Room."
However, I do have a close runnerup to this most favorite: it is the "Sugar and Spice" pattern, which I think I am going to be FORCED to make in Anne's new "Ooh La La" fabric line. My daughter was a French minor in college, has twice traveled to France, and loves almost all things French. I am sure that she would love to have a "Sugar and Spice" made from this French-inspired fabric to hang in her Cate's new "big girl room." Of course, then, I might have to next make "Play Days" design for Cate's new baby brother Jack!
I appreciate the special giveaway opportunity. I have to confess that I will have my fingers crossed to win one of three particular prizes: the pattern and fabric for Allie the Scottie Dog, because the grandchildren adore playing with our little black Scottie named Piper; the pattern and fabric for Lollipop Lamb, because our granddaughter adores lambs; or, the already-made Henrietta, because I think I can detect some use on her of the "Ooh La La" fabric, which would match that "Sugar and Spice" I am seeing in my future.
It has been fun to read about Anne and you meeting at the quilt show, but entering this giveaway has been super fun also! Wow! When I get excited about such pretty patterns and fabrics, I could go on and on...and almost have! Thanks to each of you for this oportunity.
Linda
I love all of Anne Sutton's patterns but right now Tiny town is my favourite - just bought the patterns and kit and can't wait to start - I am retiring end of November and am starting this as a block of the month in January.
The Night Before Christmas is my all time favorite!! Also the Itty Bitty Squirrel Pin Cushion was my first pattern that I bought and was hooked ever since!! Thank you for a chanc to win.
My all time favorite is Rabbits Prefer Chocolate, which I am working on. My favorite that I don't have is Le Jardin.I would love to win the finished Henrietta or the lamb pattern (or any of the ones I don't already have---I have the baby bear, and snickerdoodles...both of which are *adorable*)
I love the tisket a tasket I have just started to do applique and have had great fun in looking in all the great fabric shops that can be found around us in Lincolnshire England keep up the good work i love reading the blogs some very talented people out there..Lisa x
I'm loving the new Merry Merry Snowmen right now, with the Pumpkin Pie a close second! Thanks for the opportunity and for the peek at what's coming up!
I was really excited to see Bunny Hill's post about Henrietta and the giveaway. My favorite pattern is "Rabbits Prefer Chocolate" because my family has a saying that "chocolate can fix anything." LOL! I enjoyed visiting your blog for the first time. So glad you made friends with Anne.
My favorite is Snickerdoodle! Love the name:) Love your blog and all the great fabric you picked up. Just my style!
It's hard to pick my favorite from her many fun patterns but I would have to say "It's Raining Cats and Dogs." I am a cat lover and couldn't resist that one.
Hi I love Ann and have followed her blog for over a year. She is such a sweet lady and always tries to answer any comments you make. I have been wanting to make her yoyoville quilt but that is just one of the many patterns I love. Thanks for chance to win something of hers. Blessings Sandra
There are soooo many cute patterns to choose from but i do like the Scooter Pie the Cat and the Baby Bear patterns as they would be so quick and easy and cute for baby gifts along with a flannel baby quilt!
I lover her patterns! My fav is the Cape Cod (boats). I saw this one at Market and loved it...I regret not going back to get it. There are no baby boy (grandchildren) yet, but I should make this one to be prepared, yes?! Confetti is also an all-time favorite of her patterns.
