Sew Fabulous Giveaway!

Hello Everyone!  I'm very excited to feature Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop today, a terrific online source for quilters.

They have a new and improved website which showcases tons of colorful, cute, feminine and fun fabrics.  You can shop by collection, designer, manufacturer, theme or color and they offer affordable (below MSRP) prices.  Gotta love that!  Plus, they have a new Sale every week.  This week, Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket for Moda is 25% off.

To celebrate their website makeover, Sew Fabulous is letting me play Santa by offering you a chance to win the most beautiful FQ bundle ...

... 26 fat quarters of pure yummy prettiness!

Lecien's latest Durham collection is sooooooo dreamy ... an absolute must-have for any quilter's stash.

So of course I own this bundle.

Ok, ok ... I bought two ... don't judge ... you would too if you were me.

But now a war is raging on inside my head about whether to keep them forever intact so I can admire them on my shelf (and maybe even pet them every once in a while), OR make something that would be nothing short of romantic and lovely and just oh so ... PRETTY.

If you would like a chance to win this bundle and join me in my struggle - unless you're super disciplined and never have trouble cutting into your favorite fabrics ... in which case you have my complete admiration and envy - please leave a comment telling me what you might make with such a bundle.  I need some ideas!

Entries close at 8:00 pm PST on Sunday April 14th and the randomly drawn winner will be announced here on Monday.

Good luck to all of you ... and thank you Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

I would make some lovely accessories to use out on my deck/sunporch. Pillows, table topper, placemats, napkins, etc! I love having romantic dinners (when the kids are away) and treating my girlfirends to a fun day of quilting and lunch :)

You should cut it up and make lovely quilts for friends in faraway lands.... or not so faraway lands... or cut it into 1 inch squares and leave a trail from your house to hers so you never get lost along the way....

Honestly - between you and me - I wouldn't cut into this bundle until I found the absolute perfect pattern. Is that wrong not cutting into your fabric?! Beautiful, beautiful bundle!!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLaurie
I would make myself a snuggly quilt since I'm the only girl in the house. Then I wouldn't have to share!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterEvy
I have three boys myself, and two nephews on the way, so I have no need for something this pretty for a quilt. BUT, I definitely need something this pretty for MYSELF, so I would make a pretty spring bag for ME!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKrysta
I would definitely have some trouble cutting into this!!

I'd love to make a trip around the world quilt with this! The colours are lovely!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKat
At the risk of coming across as a real 'suck up' ...... I'd use that yummy fabric to make... wait for it....... a Honey Bee quilt. Or maybe a Honey Bee bag... decisions decisions. If there are scraps left over then it's a Tree & Bunny pouch too.... waste not... want not! :o)
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJosie
(I don't think my comment posted--trying again) I would make as big of a scrappy trip quilt that I could..love the fabric!

Oh my, I think I would just set them in a prominent place in the sewing room and look at them for a couple years, and then get inspired to go and make sugar cookies with pastel icing for tea every other day...
And then I would have to decide what NOT to make out of them! A lovely quilt, or coordinating accessories for the sewing room, or sweet appliques on a little girl's outfit, or pretty handbags, or...

Those fabrics are absolutely divine! These are exactly the fabrics I would buy. As far as what I would make? Hum, first I would definitely admire them for a good long while. Then I would just have to make some things. I might make a small quilt and hang it on the wall to admire the fabrics always. Also, a fabric envelope to hold my cross stitch, a pincushion for the sewing table, maybe a zippered pouch for traveling to hold my jewelry, maybe make some new curtains or a valance for my sewing room in a solid fabric and trim the edges in some patchwork fashion, the ideas are endless.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKaren CA
Oooh how gorgeous! It would be hard not to make a quilt out of this dreamy fabric. I know a certain little girl who would go bananas over a quilt made from Lecien's latest collection - lovely!

oh man, i really hope I win this bundle. This is absolutely beautiful, and fits my style perfectly. If I won this bundle, this would be perfect for what my next project is going to be. I haven't started it yet because I dont have the right fabric. I plan on making patchwork curtains.

I would love to make a grandmother's flower garden quilt to celebrate (and give) to my cousin's beautiful new baby girl. Thank you for a chance to win this gorgeous fabric
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCathy
Beautiful, beautiful Fabrics. Oh my Goodness, I too would have a very hard time cutting into those lovelies. I have a pattern called Star Cakes and the squares are quite large (10") so the fabrics would be showcased and not cut into bitty pieces. I think that would make a gorgeous bed or wall (as your head-board) quilt. Would I love to win? Oh Yes Please. Thank You.
p.s. Just bought your book as I didn't want an e-Copy. Yeah right, like I have to worry about winning. Ha!

There are so many beautiful quilts that would look wonderful in such a beautiful range of fabrics. I think I would be completely selfish and make something beautiful with it just for myself.

Oh, how beautiful! If I won that bundle I would look at it, pet it, admire it for quite a while. I would find it hard to undo the bundle as it looks so pretty like that. I would eventually make a pretty quilt for my bed. With a houseful of boys, it's always lovely to have some prettiness around! Thanks of the great giveaway.

I would make an old-fashioned quilt ... Maybe churn dashes or sister's choice.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterNita
I've been waiting for the perfect fabric to make a swoon quilt, this could be it. Although knowing me, I might not be able to cut up that beautiful stack of cottony goodness. I like to go into my sewing room and just pet the fabric, look at it, enjoy the color combos, rearrange and refold. Good luck, with your pattern decision. ;-> Toni Anne

Hmmm... I think I would keep them on my shelf for a while just so I could admire them, I think it would have to be a very special project before I could cut into them though... I think maybe a quilt to snuggle under and lots of pretty cushions to match while I read and drink coffee!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMichelle
I'm sure I'd make a darling baby quilt out of such girly, soft, adorable fabric. I'm not at a loss for granddaughters who would love it.

If I could force myself to cut into that lovely bunch of fabric I would make a quilt for myself! Thank you for the chance to win!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterVicki
Those are beautiful fabrics. I would probably keep them in their bundle for a while too. Then, when I could bring myself to cut into them, I would make a quilt for my daughter's bed. I would also use them in a tote bag or two.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAnita
OMG, this fabric collection is so beautiful. I would definitely make a quilt for my bedroom, probably something with stars, kind of scrappy, with blocks measuring 6 inches. I don't think I could cut into it right away though. I'd have to have a bit of a drool first.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterHeartsdesire
It is screaming baby girl quilt at me. At the moment we have a # of people at work who are expecting and they are all having girls! Thanks for the chance to make a gift or two for the impending little ones.
