Sew Fabulous Giveaway!

Hello Everyone!  I'm very excited to feature Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop today, a terrific online source for quilters.

They have a new and improved website which showcases tons of colorful, cute, feminine and fun fabrics.  You can shop by collection, designer, manufacturer, theme or color and they offer affordable (below MSRP) prices.  Gotta love that!  Plus, they have a new Sale every week.  This week, Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket for Moda is 25% off.

To celebrate their website makeover, Sew Fabulous is letting me play Santa by offering you a chance to win the most beautiful FQ bundle ...

... 26 fat quarters of pure yummy prettiness!

Lecien's latest Durham collection is sooooooo dreamy ... an absolute must-have for any quilter's stash.

So of course I own this bundle.

Ok, ok ... I bought two ... don't judge ... you would too if you were me.

But now a war is raging on inside my head about whether to keep them forever intact so I can admire them on my shelf (and maybe even pet them every once in a while), OR make something that would be nothing short of romantic and lovely and just oh so ... PRETTY.

If you would like a chance to win this bundle and join me in my struggle - unless you're super disciplined and never have trouble cutting into your favorite fabrics ... in which case you have my complete admiration and envy - please leave a comment telling me what you might make with such a bundle.  I need some ideas!

Entries close at 8:00 pm PST on Sunday April 14th and the randomly drawn winner will be announced here on Monday.

Good luck to all of you ... and thank you Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

I am just finishing up a quilt with some Durham fabrics and it looks beautiful but it uses really big cuts, so I'd like to try something with smaller pieces - maybe some foundation pieced stars as a sampler!
Oh so pretty!

I would make a quilt that would be kid and dog free for me. All feminine. Very beautiful.

Wow, what gorgeous fabrics! I could see a grandmother's garden quilt for a princess of a granddaughter! Who ever wins will have a great time if they can force themselves to cut the fabric!

Just after seeing this initially, I saw a sweet baby quilt on Pinterest made from vintage sheets. The quilt would look fabulous made from Leciens Durham fabric collection. So hope that I win these sweet fat quarters.

I would make a shining quilt to *decorate* my living room, despite the risk of being used only as a blanket by the children.

Hi Krystine! I would make your Honey Bee Bag pattern, which is sitting by my cutting mat waiting for a pretty bundle of just the right fabrics to make it with. I've been deliberating on what to purchase for it. This bundle is goregous! Thx for sharing.

First I would be very happy to own so beautiful fabrics - then I would be happy to meet my granddaughter's great wish: A carpet in just these beautiful colors - Anna is 6 years and have started to share my substance in 2 stacks: very nice and nicest, but she changes often make sense. I hope she will soon begin to sew yourself - is beginning with grandmother's help.
Thank you for the opportunity to be the lucky - I hope ...........

This fabric is so lovely! I would have to admire and "pet" it for a little bit, but then it would become a beautiful baby quilt with the extra bits made into yo yo's for a cute pillow top.

So pretty. I think I would make my wedding quilt out of this. It would look beautiful in our new house.

Oh my, oh my, oh my! This bundle is pure confection! My first thought was to add it to my shabby chic fabrics I have set aside for one of the infamous Scrappy Trips around the world quilts taking the internet by storm! Then, I also thought of the hexagon quilt in the Australian "Vignette" magazine. In that quitl, the connecting hexagons have flowers embroidered in them. Perfect for this collection! My fingers are crossed.

I have 3 grand daughters so I`d use these BEAUTIFUL fabrics to make things for them. Right of the top of my head, I`d fancy up a sweat shirt for this coming fall, maybe a skirt for each and so on. (their all under 6yrs)

Thank you for the chance in winning :)

These fabrics are so pretty...I would have to just admire them in the bundle for awhile then I would, very carefully, cut into them and make a lap quilt just for me. I love, love, love the entire collection.

Thank you for the chance to win these lovelies.

I would love to make a quilt for my guest room with these great
soft toned fabrics. Thanks for a chance to win some.
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJan Richards
I would make a soft, sweet quilt from some kind of traditional pattern. I would have to admire the uncut fabrics for a while first, though!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLisa Marie
This fabric is so beautiful. I might make a prayer shawl with it. That way I can wrap it around myself every single day! I like the way Sew Fabulous redesigned their site!

Kristiyne, I see some small prints that would look great on my Bunny and Tree Pouch. Then again I might have a hard time breaking up the adorable bundle it belongs to. Thank you for introducing me to Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop! Yum!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJennifer
Love this line. Can't wait to see what you make out of it. Can't you use up one of your bundles?
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAbby
This fat quarter set is gorgeous! I don't have a sewing machine But I'm trying to slowly quilt by hand. I would love this luscious fabric to make a baby quilt xx
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterChelsea Barrett
I think I would do what you do - put them on a shelf and admire them. For a while anyway. And then I'd start feeling guilty about something so beautiful not being made and I'd probably make a quilt. That no one was allowed to touch. Maybe for the wall?
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLisa
These are so beautiful! My grandaughter is getting a new bed and this would make a perfect quilt to add to her dreamy new bedroom.
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTerri Barton
Ohh sooo pretty. I think I would find it difficult to cut into this too especially being new to quilting but when brave enough it would make the loveliest quilt for my bedroom..the colours are perfect and so dreamy....sigh.

The fabric just sings Summer quilt to me, wahoo!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKathy MacKie
I might make hankies for each of my girlfriends. We all love dainty feminine things like that and they would make great gifts! Other idea would be pillowcases with lace. :)

April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSue
Oh it would be a wonderful girly purse, of course!! With ruffles along the outside! And lots of pockets inside. And maybe a pocket or two on the outside as well! The ideas are limitless! So so so beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win!!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterEuna
I know exactly what I would make. My grandaughter is a girly girl and loves the soft shabbby chic look so I would make her a quilt with applique and patch work. Thanks for the chance to win!!!!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRonda
It would be fabulous to receive this beautiful stack. I love the floral, feminine, yummy colors of this line. With 26 fat quarters, more than one project could be made! I love the snowball quilt pattern, because it gives the opportunity to show off your favorites close together. If you made a table topper using one from each, with a finished 5 inch block, you could see them all, and not have to make a big cut in any of them. This could leave more fabric a quilt to snug under. Two more possibilities would be to use the Patterns: Cake Walk and/or Cherry Turnovers from Me and My Sister's.

Love your site and appreciate your creativity.

This is so romantic, great for a quilt for anyone. I would do a nine patch pattern.
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterbarbara leonard
These fabrics are enchanting, I , too would love to keep them close but after awhile I would have to sort through my baskets of books and patterns to find the perfect quilt or sewing project, either for me or my six grandaughters. What a beautiful dilemna!! Thanks for the dream!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCarol Wiens
I'm desperate to make my very first grandmother's flower garden picnic blanket and I've been hunting for lovely fabrics to use. This collection would be perfect!
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRachel Jarvis
I would like to pet it for a while and then turn it into a teddy bear for my niece.
April 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKathi L.
Oh, oh, oh, what lovliness! I would definitely be tempted to admire this bundle on my shelves and would pet it for sure! Wouldn't be able to help myself. I'd have to make this into a quilt, actually it would be the first one I'd keep for myself. Would love to wrap myself in such lovliness! Pure luxury! Thank you for the chance to win!

The fabric is so beautiful and dreamy as Kristyne said. I would make a lap quilt that I would piece and quilt by hand. I would add some embroidery in soft colors to match, flowers of course. Kristyne makes such beautiful things that I hope I can come close to making something as beautiful as she does. Then of course I would have to make a dolly or baby bunny to match or even a small pillow if there is enough. I might add some blocks of creamy white to make the fabric go further. I can't wait to get started. Thank you Kristyne for this opportunity. I love, love, love your blog and your book!!
