Sew Fabulous Giveaway!

Hello Everyone!  I'm very excited to feature Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop today, a terrific online source for quilters.

They have a new and improved website which showcases tons of colorful, cute, feminine and fun fabrics.  You can shop by collection, designer, manufacturer, theme or color and they offer affordable (below MSRP) prices.  Gotta love that!  Plus, they have a new Sale every week.  This week, Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket for Moda is 25% off.

To celebrate their website makeover, Sew Fabulous is letting me play Santa by offering you a chance to win the most beautiful FQ bundle ...

... 26 fat quarters of pure yummy prettiness!

Lecien's latest Durham collection is sooooooo dreamy ... an absolute must-have for any quilter's stash.

So of course I own this bundle.

Ok, ok ... I bought two ... don't judge ... you would too if you were me.

But now a war is raging on inside my head about whether to keep them forever intact so I can admire them on my shelf (and maybe even pet them every once in a while), OR make something that would be nothing short of romantic and lovely and just oh so ... PRETTY.

If you would like a chance to win this bundle and join me in my struggle - unless you're super disciplined and never have trouble cutting into your favorite fabrics ... in which case you have my complete admiration and envy - please leave a comment telling me what you might make with such a bundle.  I need some ideas!

Entries close at 8:00 pm PST on Sunday April 14th and the randomly drawn winner will be announced here on Monday.

Good luck to all of you ... and thank you Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

Hi Kristyne,
I would make a quilt for my one yr old grand-daughter. She's #12, but hasn't gotten a quilt yet. But it sure will be hard cutting into that stack of pure yumminess. Thank you for all you've shared w/all of us. Your following is GROWING! I'm not surprised. ;-)

Oh my goodness, I think I have just fallen in love (big sigh!)!!! This is such a totally gorgeous bundle of the most perfect fabric!
I am totally new to quilting so this would be a starting bundle for my stash and like you Kristyne, I may have to just sit and stare lovingly at it for a while until inspiration strikes (which probably wouldn't take very long)! In the end I would love to attempt my first ever quilting project with this adorable fabric, maybe a cushion or a blanket and some kind of embroidered wall art. It would go beautifully in our soon to be guest room which has been newly decorated with a green feature wall. x

With your beautious fabric, I would like to just look at it for a little and let the colors relax my eyes. Then I would either make my new grand baby a girlie quilt, or make one of my girls a quilt, or make myself a quilt. Those are my very favorite colors in the world!!! I'm sure whoever wins will be ever so thankful and grateful!! Have a blessed day!!!

I love this bundle of fabric. Whatever is made will be beautiful. I would do some sort of quilt...lap or larger, so that it can lay insight and be viewed everyday.

A beautiful dresden plate quilt to help brighten up the very un-seasonal weather we have been having in Scotland. Then again whats wrong with keeping them for a visual treat when things get too much
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterChris
I know what I would use those fabrics for - a lap size quilt just for me. I do so much quilting for others (I know you do, too) that I would keep those fabrics to make a special snugly quilt for me.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMargaret
These soft colors say "country cottage" to me. I like to work on smaller projects, that way I am sure to finish what I start. So...I'd choose some to make a quilted diaper bag for my newest little granddaughter (embellished with vintage crochet of course). Some would be cut into strips to make one of my coiled fabric baskets to hold her tiny toys or little socks. And...if there were any scraps left over, I'd make myself a nice mug mat to use with my evening cup of tea.

I love these fabrics and could see them in a quilt for a precious little girl, and I know just the little girl. Of course they would have to stay in the bundle for a while for me to admire and enjoy their loveliness.

What yummy colors - reminds me of my two girls when they were little.

April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMelia
That beauty bundle would make a fab quilt for a guest room.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDianeH
What beautiful fabric! This is the type of fabric that you could make a lovely quilt with, and then need to redecorate an entire room around it.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLynn
I have a personal rule, if it is fabric I love, adore and want to build a whole house around it, I never, ever, ever cut into it unless I can be assured I can still get backups of the prints I cut. So, I would never judge you on a 2 purchase bundle...smart move in my book....now, your question, I am seeing 4 inch baskets and 4 inch stars and lots of little 9 patches and just letting the scrappy thing grow and grow and grow until it covers a HUGE bed since that is just a bundle of happiness and you need to see lots of it.....there is my opinion, now, may I please win????
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSusan
We've got a baby girl due to arrive in the family in October. I'd love to make her a special quilt.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBaye
What about a very traditional king size dresden plate quilt? It would be sooo lovely to see it every day on my bed...

I would definitely make a quilt, I'm not sure what pattern, but any quilt would be oh so pretty made out of this fabric!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLisa
Just one?! Oh man.... I can make a few things outta that, though not all of them (I'd need way more than one bundle - HA!)! Quilt, table runner, wall hanging, tote bags, Quillow, placemats, pot holders, napkins, hankerchiefs, table toppers, I could go on! Sigh.... can't decide on which one. Why don't you choose one for me? Ha, ha, ha... ;-) Reckon it'll have to be either aprons or a quilt of some sort. Oh well...
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSilent Scrapper
I would make a quilt for me, its so soft and feminine, something that doesn't occur in my house of males(outnumbered 4-1). So pretty, thanks for the chance.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCharlene

If I could force myself to cut it, I would probably make a quilt from a Miss Rosie pattern.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSally
Love this fabric! I would make something pretty for my little girl. She is always in need of more burp cloths and bibs so I think I would make a few of those even though they would get dirty pretty quickly!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCity Chic - Jamie
I'm thinking it would look great in a pattern called High Cotton from the book "A Touch of Rosie" by Carrie Nelson. A lot of her quilts use old fashioned florals.
