Sew Fabulous Giveaway!

Hello Everyone!  I'm very excited to feature Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop today, a terrific online source for quilters.

They have a new and improved website which showcases tons of colorful, cute, feminine and fun fabrics.  You can shop by collection, designer, manufacturer, theme or color and they offer affordable (below MSRP) prices.  Gotta love that!  Plus, they have a new Sale every week.  This week, Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket for Moda is 25% off.

To celebrate their website makeover, Sew Fabulous is letting me play Santa by offering you a chance to win the most beautiful FQ bundle ...

... 26 fat quarters of pure yummy prettiness!

Lecien's latest Durham collection is sooooooo dreamy ... an absolute must-have for any quilter's stash.

So of course I own this bundle.

Ok, ok ... I bought two ... don't judge ... you would too if you were me.

But now a war is raging on inside my head about whether to keep them forever intact so I can admire them on my shelf (and maybe even pet them every once in a while), OR make something that would be nothing short of romantic and lovely and just oh so ... PRETTY.

If you would like a chance to win this bundle and join me in my struggle - unless you're super disciplined and never have trouble cutting into your favorite fabrics ... in which case you have my complete admiration and envy - please leave a comment telling me what you might make with such a bundle.  I need some ideas!

Entries close at 8:00 pm PST on Sunday April 14th and the randomly drawn winner will be announced here on Monday.

Good luck to all of you ... and thank you Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

I'd love to try a "Miss Rosie's" pattern - some of those look like they would show off this fabric beautifully.....like this one: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=2518302178251&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=11847&Parent_Ids=

OH MY GOODNESS! This fabric is gorgeous! It is so soft and feminine that I would use it to make my daughter a beautiful quilt. Thank you for the giveaway.

Wow, this is gorgeous fabric and it looks exactly like a perfect Pretty By Hand choice! I know I would definitely let it sit around and pet it and look at the bundle for a good long while. Then I'd spend some time talking to it to see if I could get a clue what to make. Most likely I'd end up creating it into a lovely snuggly lap quilt or a purse and some table runners or something. I'm afraid I'm not that much help for wonderful new ideas. :)

Just found out my eldest daughter is expecting a girl!! I'd love to use these fabrics to make a sweet quilt for my first grandbaby! The prints are so dainty and lovely! Thanks for the chance to win!!

I want to learn how to quilt and applique. My mom helped me create my own studio and I would love to make a wall hanging quilt.

I would like to win these to give them to my little sister for a surprise.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterVictoria
Oh! Oh! Oh! (doing my best Horseshack from Kotter) you 'know' my name is written all over these delicious fabrics! I can see them winking at me :)
Have you ever made patchwork type (lined, of course) curtains? Wouldn't these be lovely or am I the only one to think of such a thing?
Of course, first I'd give this stack a girlie name then a place at the head of the table...
Sigh... these fabrics are so precious!

O I have been admiring this collection from afar. I have recently purchased your S is for Stitch book and I am loving it. This fabric would work fantastic with the little girl ABC quilt. But of course I would have a very hard time cutting this beautiful fabric. I would have to pet it for awhile, I do believe.

You are right! That is some dreamy and gorgeous fabric! I have trouble as well cutting into some of my favorite fabric. I have to be sure that the project I'm going to make is the perfect project for that fabric. I'd love to make some zippered pouches and maybe a runner for my bedroom with that yummy fabric.

Thank you and Sew Fabulous for an awesome and generous giveaway and a chance to win.

I've been working on my daughter's wedding quilt, a white whole cloth, for what seems like years. Her wedding is just a month away! But I keep thinking of what a precious, sweet baby girl she was, all ribbons and pink ruffles....maybe I would start a baby quilt for someday when my sweet girl has a sweet little girl of her own.

Okay. Now I'm all weepy.

I have been wanting this fabric and have not purchased it yet! It is beautiful!! I would keep it in my sewing room for a little while until I knew what I would make! :)

I just recently became "acquainted" with the Lucien fabrics and I AM SO IN LOVE! I would love to make something wonderful to cuddle up in but I'd probably have the same war at wanting to just pet it! PLEASE pick me!!!! LOL

I can't believe that you are willing to part with that lovely fabric! If I won I would have to admire it for awhile, and then I would make it into a quilt for my bedroom so I could see it always. I love romantic fabric! I think my little granddaughter would also like a ruffly dress. And this would also make a wonderful stuffed elephant for her too. I guess if I won I would probably have to go buy more! Thank you and thank Sew Fabulous for this generous giveaway. And thanks for your inspiring blog!
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPam
Knowing me, I would probably put it on the shelf in my sewing room and just admire it!! Sure would love to win it! Thank you :)

I was never a "pink" person till I found you and Amy over at Nana Co! Now I want every quilt to be pink and I have been coveting this fabric! My first grandchild is due in December and while we will be happy no matter the gender, I am secretly hoping for a girl! It's been 30 years since there was a baby girl in this family and this fabric would be used for oh. so. many. things.!!!!
Thanks for the opportunity and for opening my eyes to pink!

I would make a lap quilt to keep me toasty when I hand appliqué in the evenings.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAmy
This fabric is sooo pretty!! I think you should make a quilt for your daughter out of it.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKris
Oh, this fabric collection is soooo pretty. I know I would be like you, Kristyne, and want to admire them on a shelf for awhile . . . and, yes, pet them occasionally, too! After that, since I'm totally addicted to all sizes of hexies, I would make either a tote bag with small hexies in a Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern or a wall hanging for my sewing studio. Either way, I could enjoy this beautiful fabric collection for a long time! Thanks for this generaous give-away : )
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDebbie Madigan
I would make my dream quilt, a grandma's flower garden hexie quilt with the centers embroidered with tiny flowers and the white diamonds joining the flowers with a subtle trailing leaf embroidered pattern. That would be my "Pretty by Hand" tribute to a lovely old pattern and your generosity.

My granddaughter who is nine has a room at our house because she spends a lot of time with us. She is wanting to update her room to make it more age appropriate. These beautiful fabrics would be perfect for her room. I have all kinds of ideas for her room. I could make a quilt, pillows, baskets to organize, a
dresser topper and maybe a small wall hanging. The fabrics are so pretty and cheerful and I know she would love them.
April 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDeb Cobb
A decidedly difficult decision you ask!!!! A girl can never have too much fabric. I'm thinking I'll design a beautiful small quilt in its honor (after admiring it in its beautiful stacked state for some time!) All YOUR pretties are so inspiring! :-)

I think that I would have to look at that for a long long time before I could cut into it, but I would love to see a quilt for my daybed in my sewing room. Oh so lovely, thanks for the chance to win it!

sit on my desk looking lovely for awhile! Would make a sweet baby quilt!

The colors in the bundle makes me think of little blonde-haired girls dressed in spring colored jumpers running in the park. I think I would make one of the old-fashioned patterns of girls in jumper dresses (not sure if this the right description) and hand quilt the blanket.

I would use it to make my Mom a lovely quilt. My Mom was just getting into quilting and I have two that she had made me about 15 years ago. And now I am learning to make quilts and my Mom is no longer able to sew due to dementia. I would use these beautiful fabrics for her special quilt!!
