Sew Fabulous Giveaway!

Hello Everyone!  I'm very excited to feature Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop today, a terrific online source for quilters.

They have a new and improved website which showcases tons of colorful, cute, feminine and fun fabrics.  You can shop by collection, designer, manufacturer, theme or color and they offer affordable (below MSRP) prices.  Gotta love that!  Plus, they have a new Sale every week.  This week, Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket for Moda is 25% off.

To celebrate their website makeover, Sew Fabulous is letting me play Santa by offering you a chance to win the most beautiful FQ bundle ...

... 26 fat quarters of pure yummy prettiness!

Lecien's latest Durham collection is sooooooo dreamy ... an absolute must-have for any quilter's stash.

So of course I own this bundle.

Ok, ok ... I bought two ... don't judge ... you would too if you were me.

But now a war is raging on inside my head about whether to keep them forever intact so I can admire them on my shelf (and maybe even pet them every once in a while), OR make something that would be nothing short of romantic and lovely and just oh so ... PRETTY.

If you would like a chance to win this bundle and join me in my struggle - unless you're super disciplined and never have trouble cutting into your favorite fabrics ... in which case you have my complete admiration and envy - please leave a comment telling me what you might make with such a bundle.  I need some ideas!

Entries close at 8:00 pm PST on Sunday April 14th and the randomly drawn winner will be announced here on Monday.

Good luck to all of you ... and thank you Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

This colors in this palette are so beautiful. I would make a quilt, but it would take me a long while to decide on which pattern. Thanks for the great giveaway.

Hmmm, a quilt is what comes to mind first, but then again maybe a lovely ruffly summer skirt might be just the thing as well. I absolutely loooove these fabrics.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMartha
I just got a new book on quilts, so I would use these for a quilt out of that book.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterStacy

OHHHHHhhhhhh. GOooooorgeous! My husband and I really need a new quilt for our master bedroom. This would be the PERFECT material for a beautiful hand made quilt!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLinda
I would make a sweet little quilt with 4 inch squares with embroidery motifs inbetween. I would make the quilt small enough so that I would have leftovers -
though - because I just love that fabric and then could make dozens of pincushions. The quilt might just stay in my sewing room with me - on my chair. Thank you for the generous opportunity.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJane
Oh those fabrics are so delicate and feminine....they'd make a wonderful summery style quilt. I'm thinking stars with a light and airy background. Some of the redwork patterns out now would work in well with these prints, possibly incorporate them in the quilt as well.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSue
Don't blame you one bit that is absolutely gorgeous fabric and to try to decide what to use it in would be a very difficult decision. What a great give away, thank you.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterColette
That bundle just makes me smile, and I feel like the project should be something light and fresh - perhaps pillowcases or shams, or even curtains. Also, a nap quilt. Oh, goodness, the possibilities are endless!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPatty
I might use it to make a sweet quiltlet for my next grandbaby...don't know the gender yet, but it it's a girl, this would be soooo lovely! Romantic journal cover perhaps, or a table topper for Easter/Mother's day?
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered Commentershelley c
Wow! Such pretty fabric and so many fun patterns available. I usually need to look at the fabric for awhile before I decide how to use it. Although, that is part of the joy of sewing!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBetsy
I think these would make a beautiful summer coverlet for our bed.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBobbie23nc
OOH I'm dreaming of a lap throw for the porch these cool spring nights. Can't you just picture knees tucked up to your chin on the porch swing wrapped in these sugary colors?
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMelody
I would make a quilt...possibly the row-along quilt that I wanted to make over at Bee in a Bonnet and never got started. This would help me do it! Thanks!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDeb
I just recently ran across a quilt pattern by Fig Tree called Sweet Sugar Swirls and I think this fat quarter bundle would make a lovely quilt using this pattern! Just gorgeous fabric!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRose
I would need two of these, too. One to cut up and one to sew up into a lovely patchwork quilt, just for me!! You pet your fabric, too? Glad I am not the only one!

After admiring these fabrics, I would make a quilt or maybe an outfit for a special baby girl. Then, again, maybe something for myself. It's been a while since I've done that. Thanks for the chance to win.

As I look at these beautiful fabrics I can picture a new quilt for my 2 year old grandaughter Gia Rose's new bed which will be arriving soon. Gia loves coiming into my sewing room and rubbing fabric on her tiny face and taking some to bed with her. I hope she will be a quilter someday. Thank you for the opportunity to be entered into the giveaway. Love your new website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Con esos colores preciosos haría una colcha para mi nieta catalina que ama todas las flores y los tonos rosados. Que bueno me vendría ganármelo, ella estaría muy felíz. gracias.

well after i was done holding it and petting it and smelling it and admiring the heck out of it . .i would cut that baby up and make the sweetest baby quilt for my friend's new little girl
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterwhitney
I love it. It looks so feminine, and I don't get too much of that in my household being the mother to 3 sons and a husband.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMary S
I would love to make a little girl's quilt with lots of prairie points.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBel
I would make a quilt for my gramma who's in assisted living... she would adore this fabric line and hopefully make her smile every time she sees it!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLisa M
Ok, while my first thought would be to make a shrine in front of it with sparkly things and candles (the battery-kind; don't want my fabric on fire!), the OTHER thought I had would be for some sort of bargello quilt. I think I would try not to hack up the fabric into too small pieces, but think they would be beautiful. Or the shrine. Either is good.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAngela M
I would have to keep it around for awhile before scissor and rotary cutter came out. PRECIOUS! I will do a simple nine patch with white. Perhaps get some extra yardage of one or more of the floral prints for alternating whole blocks. And absolutely hand quilted.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterShelley K
Love these beautiful prints. I have a pattern for baby ballerina slippers that would be darling...with a quilt to match, of course.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRosemary
Luv this adorable bundle!
It reminds of a bygone era so I would definitely make a traditional pattern like a Churn Dash-one of my faves or maybe a quilt using the Aunt Dinah block!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterroccagal
I love polka-dots, so Annie's Farm Stand Green Pixie Dot would be so much fun to have in my collection.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCarol
I would make a sweet little quilt for my little girl.
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMichelle
The fabric looks perfect for some little baby girl dresses! Or curtains!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterHannah
LOVE these gorgeous soft fabrics! So pretty! I would surely make a wonderful quilt - I could see something from Fig Tree or Thimble Blossoms - my favorite quilt designers. There is something about those yummy pastel colors!

Thank you for the chance to win!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSusan
I think I would make a simple quilt just for me. These fabrics are so beautiful!
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDawn
Oh, my gracious! So many comments!! Anything you make will be gorgeous, but I'd suggest Sweet Pea's Garden or Forever Summer by Cynthia Tomaszewski.

I keep looking for those luscious Lucien fabrics but they're hard to find around here. And even if you do find one, there's never the whole collection.
These are beautiful. I buy fabric and have all kinds of plans for it until it arrives and I see it in person. I have a few bundles that just sit on my shelf, or my desk, looking pretty. I can't bear cutting it up. But that is because I don't do beautiful work like you do. I know you will come up with something that makes this beautiful fabric even more beautiful!
