Sew Fabulous Giveaway!

Hello Everyone!  I'm very excited to feature Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop today, a terrific online source for quilters.

They have a new and improved website which showcases tons of colorful, cute, feminine and fun fabrics.  You can shop by collection, designer, manufacturer, theme or color and they offer affordable (below MSRP) prices.  Gotta love that!  Plus, they have a new Sale every week.  This week, Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket for Moda is 25% off.

To celebrate their website makeover, Sew Fabulous is letting me play Santa by offering you a chance to win the most beautiful FQ bundle ...

... 26 fat quarters of pure yummy prettiness!

Lecien's latest Durham collection is sooooooo dreamy ... an absolute must-have for any quilter's stash.

So of course I own this bundle.

Ok, ok ... I bought two ... don't judge ... you would too if you were me.

But now a war is raging on inside my head about whether to keep them forever intact so I can admire them on my shelf (and maybe even pet them every once in a while), OR make something that would be nothing short of romantic and lovely and just oh so ... PRETTY.

If you would like a chance to win this bundle and join me in my struggle - unless you're super disciplined and never have trouble cutting into your favorite fabrics ... in which case you have my complete admiration and envy - please leave a comment telling me what you might make with such a bundle.  I need some ideas!

Entries close at 8:00 pm PST on Sunday April 14th and the randomly drawn winner will be announced here on Monday.

Good luck to all of you ... and thank you Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

I would definitely have trouble cutting into this fabric! Which would work out perfect because I want to make a baby quilt for my 'someday' granddaughter. I have been assured that it will happen, just not yet. The not yet is going on 7 years now. I keep praying for divine intervention.

I would make a quilt for my daughter using the pattern Fat Quarter Fashionita, which are big blocks and showcase the fabric beautifully.

I would make an appliqued quilt, a blanket, bibs and some stuffed animals. I love this fabric line.
Thanks so much!!

This is one of the prettiest lines I've seen...Not sure what I'd make.....Know it would be a traditional pattern
April 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDebbie
I would get to enjoy it just as it is for awhile. I would have a lot of other projects ahead of it. I would make the pattern Spring Fling Quilt from Martingale or maybe a quilt from "A Baker's Dozen". Either pattern would mean I'd need to go shopping for more fabric. What a fun afternoon!

What's not to love about these fabrics? I would use these delicate beauties to make a quilt for my close-as-a-sister cousin who lives several states away. I often wish i could wrap her in a hug and a quilt from fabrics this lovely would do the trick!
Thank you for the giveaway.

I would make a quilt for a little girl's room. It's so soft and romantic looking. Even a new born girls crib quilt. How darling that would be.

I can see entirely hand sewing a set of baby clothes,
bibs, dresses & bloomers
Along with a few small pillows & a small baby quilt
I love to mix precious & delicate quilters cottons with
unbleached muslin - add lots of hand stitched details,
I am welcoming our 6th child in a few weeks
And these would be perfect!

I would make a few little cushions for the empty black leather couch in my living room, and since my house lacks color... it is all white (walls, ceilings, lamps, doors, furniture, blinds, carpet) and I'm an artist so it's depressing. So I'd probably make some curtains too :) anything I could cover with this pretty fabric, I'd probably cover. Heehee c:

I am not surprised at all to see this wonderful fabric in your hands... I saw it at Sew Fabulous on my last visit and thought of you immediately. The way you handled Farmer's Wife blocks impressed me deeply and I would be inclined do something similar with these lovelies making them into a feminine and delightful small quilt or accent pillows.
April 13, 2013 | Unregistered Commentertoni-anne
I would love to look at the bundle for a while, and then, maybe a pair of table toppers to look at them every morning.
April 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTeresa
PRETTY! I love this bundle...almost too pretty to cut into...almost! I might pair them with a few vintage hankies I have and make MYSELF something...oh the possibilities. Thank you for the chance to win.

This is so pretty. Between your blog and the nana company blog I am totally inspired to make something sugary sweet for my almost one year old daughter. And I think it will be the ABC quilt in your S is for Stitch book which I am going to purchase!

I think I'd admire the bundle for quite a while and then, when I could bear to cut into it, I'd make a quilt for my bed - maybe clamshells?! You could cut into one of your bundles and preserve the other one for admiration and posterity...until you really need it ;o)

P.S. I hope this isn't my second comment - I typed one and then the website stopped responding (before I'd typed the 'mystery' words) and I can't see it among all the other comments so I thought I'd leave another, just to be sure!

I would make a very special lovely quilt for a teenager or preteen who is in the foster care system along with a matching pillowcase. Can't you just see the joy on this young lady's face as well as the feeling of..."yes, I am special". If any dainty fabric is left over then I would make a very cute little doll quilt for my first and only granddaughter who is 7 months old now. I can just picture her playing with her first baby dolly.
April 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJane
Would have to be a quilt!

Ok, totally guilty! I have yarns and fabrics that are there to pet, to hold close, to fold again and again and again, but no scissor has come close as of yet!! One day, they will come down, probably in something for me, (they are my precious aren't they ;) not someone elses.... ) maybe a hexie makeup bag or projectbag, something you can take with you to all kinds of places and still look at the colours and flowers....

good luck with your stash! keep drooling over the amazing fabrics!
April 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKlarie
