fresh figs giveaway

You all know Fig Tree Quilts, right?  Joanna has a way of putting a fresh, yet somehow timeless spin on traditional quilt designs.  Her latest batch of patterns is out.

I've got a sudden craving for Cherry Pie.

In pink, of course.

Or maybe red.

I do have a nice little stack of reds in my stash.

Hmmm.  I dunno.

Decisions, decisions.

How about you help me decide?

Ok, here's the deal.  If you leave me a comment telling me if I should make my Cherry Pie quilt with pink or red cherries, you will be entered to win ALL SEVEN of the patterns shown above.

Comments close on Monday 23rd and the winner will be announced Tuesday 24th.

I would think pink, just because... (does anyone really need a reason for pink???)

Or a scrappy combination of the two. Either way, I know you will make it look fabulous!

Thanks for the chance to win.

I think some of both! I love red cherries but some pink thrown in never hurts anything... :o)
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSarDee
I love Fig Tree patterns and fabrics and I say go for red cherries but choose a background that has pink in it.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterElin
Although charries are usually red, Rainer cherries are red and yellow. So Why not go for the pink cherries.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterkathy
Oh, cherries have to be red!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCathy
I love cherries in red but I think pink would be really different. You could mix some up and have both colours. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.

September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJoana
Pink cherries - red cherries - all your quilts are simply to die for! Do one of each!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPaulaK
What a tough decision...I think I would try a mixture of both red and pink - a compromise - the best of both worlds - traditional and fun! Can't wait to see what you decide...
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBelinda K-N
I would definitely go with the red cherries but I could see you creating dainty sweet pink cherries. Btw, Fig Tree also has a new (or new to me) pattern for a super simple reversible wrap skirt. Made it and love it, just like all of her patterns.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSuzy
Red of course!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterlindsey s.
I think one of each :)

September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAngelia L.
A mix of both pink and red would be so sweet! With a little yellow thrown in too (I just love yellow cherries).
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAnne J
oh, red red red cherries!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterNita
I think red would be the traditional choice, but I can't see you going past anything in pink!!
Have fun making some Cherry Pie....
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterNicky
Red for the cherries in this pattern would be perfect...go for it! x
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJo

September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLaura
Hard question to answer........
Love red......but pink ......
I would try both!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBarbara
ohhhhhh I love the red cherries
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMelinda
I love Joanne Figuroa Quilts! I love red so that's what I think you should go with. But I also love pink. Soooo do BOTH!!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDenise Cabral
Why, pink of course!!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPatricia M.
I would love to see it in both, but if I had to choose I would pick pink :)
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJen Nelson
I was thinking of doing this in both red and pink so that is my suggestion.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLynn Mc
I love pink, but I think this would be beautiful in "RED" cherries.....Whatever you make, you know everyone will love it...we always do...you make excellent decisions when choosing fabric colors....
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSuzi Berryhill
I think of rainier cherries so I would go with a combination of both! Any way you do it, will be wonderful with your sense of style and color!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterbeth f.
I vote red. Definitely red!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAndrea
Why pick only one color when you can use both? :) I love the cherry pie pattern and have it on my must make list.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa
Red for sure!!!!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMaureen H
I would choose pink!! Then again I always do.... but for design and blend purposes
pink offers so many more variations and tones that look great together, the sample on the pattern cover looks coral in places and it looks great, last I prefer a soft vs bright white background and The pinks are better with it. How about the strawberry social by pattern basket?
Im going with a mix of reds and pinks!!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterlori kramer
Red, definitely!
