fresh figs giveaway

You all know Fig Tree Quilts, right?  Joanna has a way of putting a fresh, yet somehow timeless spin on traditional quilt designs.  Her latest batch of patterns is out.

I've got a sudden craving for Cherry Pie.

In pink, of course.

Or maybe red.

I do have a nice little stack of reds in my stash.

Hmmm.  I dunno.

Decisions, decisions.

How about you help me decide?

Ok, here's the deal.  If you leave me a comment telling me if I should make my Cherry Pie quilt with pink or red cherries, you will be entered to win ALL SEVEN of the patterns shown above.

Comments close on Monday 23rd and the winner will be announced Tuesday 24th.

I made Strawberry Social out of both reds and pinks and it came out awesome. Therefore I highly recommend you make a combo of both colors! Lisa in Texas

Why not use both? All pink would be pretty, all red would be classic, but mixing it up would be fun!

Oh, I just love all things Fig tree. Took a class from Joanna back in July and loved it. She's so genuine and what a talent. Just like you! I would do scrappy red cherries, but love the idea of some Rainier pinky/yellowish thrown in too. Have fun. My fingers are crossed.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPolly Hada
I think your signature pink would be beautiful.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterElizabeth Smith
That's a tough one. Go crazy! Both! Ooh, what if you started with fun, scrappy pink and red blocks and made the snowball cherries from them? Can you imagine how cute four- or nine-patch or hourglass blocks could look, all snowballed up and made into cherries?!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDavy
I know you are partial to pink, but step outside the box and do red! You could always mix in a few pink for good measure. Whatever you do I'm sure it will be lovely.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMary
red...........of course
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBonnie

Red AND pink... some red cherries and some pink - or red and pink prints that have both colors in one - or all of the above! That pattern is so darn cute - have fun with it whatever you decide!

Maybe a little of both - it would be lovely!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLucy
Why pick only one color? I would use both red and pink cherries in my quilt, maybe more red to make the pink all that much more special.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKaren Seitz
I say go with the Red Cherrie Quilt :) It's soo pretty!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLisa
I think red cherries, cause that's what they usually are, but.....I think you should also make a mini quilt and do them in pink just to satisfy the pinkalicious part of you.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterwendy
For you, I think pink would be the best choice. Thank you for the giveaway.
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJoyce Carter
I think red cherries! It will look beautiful!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMiranda
Ummmm....yes? My son tosses a coin--he says it always works because if he is disappointed, he knows that he wanted the other and goes with that....but if we're eating cherries you want to eat the pink (sort of) ones fresh and make pie out of the red ones. If you are lucky you also have fresh blueberries and mix them in the pie. A cute little blueberry block mixed in with the others?
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJoana
As others have said, we know you love pink so no fair asking us! But I think cherries would look darling in pink. Red is more traditional but you can break that if you want. Love those hexagons you have been making. K-
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKristy
To be honest, I think I would do both red and pink because I would like the color combination and I could say those pink cherries were just not quite ripe yet!. Also, I think it would add more interest. Thank you for the chance!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCathyK
Must be red !
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLinda Rae
I think a combination is the answer. Who wants to leave out red and who wants to leave out pink?Yes Yes a combination is the answer
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLissa
I love red, especially when it comes to cherries, but I think mostly red with two or three pretty pink cherries thrown in would be adorable :)
