fresh figs giveaway

You all know Fig Tree Quilts, right?  Joanna has a way of putting a fresh, yet somehow timeless spin on traditional quilt designs.  Her latest batch of patterns is out.

I've got a sudden craving for Cherry Pie.

In pink, of course.

Or maybe red.

I do have a nice little stack of reds in my stash.

Hmmm.  I dunno.

Decisions, decisions.

How about you help me decide?

Ok, here's the deal.  If you leave me a comment telling me if I should make my Cherry Pie quilt with pink or red cherries, you will be entered to win ALL SEVEN of the patterns shown above.

Comments close on Monday 23rd and the winner will be announced Tuesday 24th.

My favorite color is pink but, cherries are red. Deep dark red those are the best tasting cherries. I'm sure whatever color you you with, your quilt will be beautiful. ;-> Toni Anne

Such beautiful patterns! Since you already have some red fabric in your stash, how about all red cherries, except for maybe one or two? After all, you were a good girl and used from your stash and as a reward you get to buy some pink fabrics, for the one or two cherries left. Like how I think? hehe.

Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win.

I am a fan of the Red cherry idea...but it is all about personal preference and in letting the fabric speak to you! Once you start laying them out, you will find what you like the most!

Pink! Because that is the closest to coral, my fav color, but I'd definitely use a mix of patterns, and maybe the colors as well...pink and coral!!! Thanks for the chance to win the patterns!

September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJoan
I vote red... though my favorite cherries are Rainier cherries... red-yellow in color :)
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAnita
I would pick red, they would be so cute!
September 19, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDebbie
If your first inclination is pink...go with pink. A pink cherry quilt will be more satisfying because pink is you. You would mimic the shades of Washington cherries, a very special cherry.

Well, since I love Warrant's song, 'Cherry Pie,' and just saw them in concert in Prior Lake, MN with Bret Michael's, I'd have to say red cherries are a must..

I'm just thinking that the way you work in color that if you went PINK, while it might not be completely traditional, I bet it would be so sweet, dreamy and unique. Thanks for chance to win. Smiles

I think a mix of pink and red with a hint of yellow on some these would have to be fussy cut but I'm sure in your extensive stash there must be some fabric with this on somewhere, they would look like they were not quitereadyto eat but look fab. Ann in UK.

Pink. Pink. Pink.

Hi!I like the idea of doing sets of both pinks and reds, with each pair being somewhat close in saturation (since they are on the same stem, after all). I also think it would look nice with more fabric variety. It looks like only 4 fabrics or so were suggested? 6 or 8 would look really interesting, especially since the pattern is so simple and there is so much negative white space. Can't wait to see how you work your magic!
September 20, 2013 | Unregistered Commentercynthia s.
How about both red and pink. The patterns are great. Thanks for sharing.
September 20, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKellie
Thats an easy one. I love those old fashioned varieties that are a deep red colour, so I say red is the perfect colour.
September 20, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCharmaine
I know pink is your favourite colour but a change once in a while is a good thing. So... I would go with the red cherries.
