fresh figs giveaway

You all know Fig Tree Quilts, right?  Joanna has a way of putting a fresh, yet somehow timeless spin on traditional quilt designs.  Her latest batch of patterns is out.

I've got a sudden craving for Cherry Pie.

In pink, of course.

Or maybe red.

I do have a nice little stack of reds in my stash.

Hmmm.  I dunno.

Decisions, decisions.

How about you help me decide?

Ok, here's the deal.  If you leave me a comment telling me if I should make my Cherry Pie quilt with pink or red cherries, you will be entered to win ALL SEVEN of the patterns shown above.

Comments close on Monday 23rd and the winner will be announced Tuesday 24th.

Pink is my favorite color so I vote for that! (Plus, I am so excited to be having my first baby girl after three boys so pink is on my brain!) Thank you for the chance to win!

Well, you always seem to be showing us here on your blog the beautiful pastel projects that you do ... so, if you chose pink, it would be beautiful.

You said it yourself... you have a lovely stash of red fabrics. So go RED. However knowing you (well a little. But enough, perhaps) there will also be pink and there will also be pretty...he he he. I so look forward to the seeing what you decide.
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSandy B
I wondered could you do half red and half pink. Otherwise definitly red!!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterNella
Such pretty patterns and I say mix them up too - your collections of fabrics are gorgeous so I know you could surely coordinate them! Can't wait to see what you come up with! Thanks for the chance to win some great stuff!

September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDiane C.
Oh, definitely the red!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSusan H
Hmmm, Kristyne, how about both?? I mean traditionally cherries are red, but some have bits of pink and since pink is your favorite color and red is mine, I think that combo would be the best!!! Of course, whatever you choose will be lovely, as always. :)
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDana
I like pink, but red would be wonderful.
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJanice McL
Mmm that's a hard one, I think I'd go with red but pink would look very good too don't you think? :-) Xxx

September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJennifer
I think pink!! Would be fun!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa
Both colors would be beautiful, but pink seems to be more in your distinctive style! Thanks for the fun!

Break out of your mold and go with the Red ! ! ! As a lover of all things red, you won't be disappointed. . .
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterMarie from Arrowhead
Definitely red. I'm also a pink girl, but still think cherries should be red, right? Although, if anyone could make pink cherries look fabulous, it's you!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterUllaBee
I love that Cherry Pie pattern! I think the red cherries are pretty, but I think pink ones would be cute too. How about some of both? Thanks for the fun giveaway.
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBecky S
I think the quilt would be pretty with both red and pink cherries. If you just have to pick, pink would be good because it isn't as expected as red cherries.
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPam S
I think you should go with the red! Put the pink away for this project. lol
Recently, I put away all my pink and green fabrics and went with a brown and blue quilt. I am loving how it turned out and am so glad I did. Even though it was not my color scheme I normally use...it was so worth the "risk".

Love the patterns!!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJulie
Pink would be so you. However, whichever you choose, I know it will be beautiful!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCindy
Well, I think you have great taste so anything you decide will be wonderful but I really do think cherries should be red. Love, love, love your blog!

How about both red and pink cherries? I sent your blog to my daughter as an example of how I would like my website that she is designing to look. I love the header, and I don't even like pastels! Keep up the excellent posts!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBarbara
I think a pink cherry quilt would be sweet! I love Joanna's fabrics too!
I have both of your blogs on my shortcuts. You're both so inspiring!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLaurie
Cherries are red...so red!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCindy Kevorken

September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCarmen
I think you should use both, cherries are red but you do love pink.
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterregina c
I would use cherries. That would make it retro, and I love retro.
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTamara
Red is so classic but I think Pink! Because it is so you!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLisa Chavez
I love the cherries being red and using the pink also on the binding or a print with pink on the back. Of course I would include polka-dots, because they are my favorite on everything. The possibilities are endless.

I love your sight. Everything is so beautiful.
Thank you.

Pink. Pink. Pink. No one would expect it and it'll be adorable!
September 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKate
I love pink very much, but for the cherries it's indispensable to prefer red.

Pink cherries! It's your color and after all, it's a form of red, just with a lot of white added in!
September 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterKarenCA
I say definitely red. Although i am sure that whatever color you use you will make something lovely. These patterns are so gorgeous. Thanks for the chance to win.
September 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterAngela D
I love the red cherries. They remind me of my childhood in Oregon when cherry trees were in every backyard. It's a way to hold on to summer a little longer.
September 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPaulette
I say to use your red stash for your Cherry Pie pattern!
September 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSusie
Everything looks better in pink :)
September 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTeresa S
I think that pink cherries would be nice because it would be a great tongue in cheek play on the old fashioned traditional red cherries .I would be very careful to use the right kind of green for the leaves to keep the use of the pink in check and to keep the colors from being discordant.I have already started this quilt with red cherries but I love the idea of pink. I say go for it !
